 Nicole, Office Manager - Conway

Nicole moved to South Carolina from Long Island, New York 5 years ago.      She shares her passion of animals with her adorable 3 year old son, who  loves  animals  just as much as she does.  Nicole has always been a dog  lover; she had  her first  dog, Dino, at age 2.  Since then, she has had 3 pit  bulls named Scrap, Na-  Ji, and  Onyx. Nicole currently has an american  mastiff named Sarabi and a rabbit  named  Peter.  She loves cats as well, especially the Conway office cat, Boo Kitty.  She has chosen to work at Meadowlawn to enjoy helping animals and their owners and loves working with a great team of outstanding veterinarians.

 Lisa, Animal Nurse

Growing up, Lisa spent more time nursing sick animals than she did playing  with  friends. While her friends were off playing doctor/nurse, she was playing      veterinarian.  She would always bring home strays to feed them, nurse baby  birds,  and she helped numerous turtles across the road. She remembers riding  her bike  5 miles one way to help the local horse farm clean stalls. She didn’t  get to ride  them, but being around them was joy enough for her. Her family always had a variety of pets, and she knew she wanted a career that involved working with animals. She started as a veterinary technician in 1999 and joined the team at Meadowlawn in 2003. According to Lisa, working as a technician is one of the most rewarding jobs anyone could have. She is proud to be a part of the caring staff at the hospital and enjoys providing quality care to pets and their owners. Helping animals has always been a part of who she is, and she enjoys her job every day.  She doesn't view her job as a burden of dealing with losing pets on a daily basis, but as a privilege to be a part of the patients’ lives.

 Caroline, Animal Nurse

Caroline is a Conway native who has been a member of the Meadowlawn  team  since February 2014. She takes pride in making sure your fur babies  have the best  possible visit with us and cuddles them as if they were her own.  She has two pets at  home, a senior yellow lab named Lucy and a sassy black kitten named Vixie. In her  free time, Caroline can probably be found with her nose in a book or socializing with  friends and family.

 Amanda, Client Services

 Amanda moved from Virginia to South Carolina 10 years ago.  Even as a  child,  Amanda had a passion for animals and caring for animals in need.  She  would  always bring home stray cats and dogs to ensure that they had a  loving home.    When Amanda is not helping take care of your pets here at  Meadowlawn, she is  busy taking care of her 2 beautiful daughters and 4  dogs  at home.;

 Brooke, Client Services

Brooke was born and raised in the South.  She has always loved animals and  growing up she had many pets including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, as well  as a  few turtles.  She currently has 2 pitbulls, Trixie and Dixie.  When Brooke  is not at work, she loves spending time with family and her 4 year old son.

 Nicole, Animal Nurse

Nicole just recently moved from Massachusetts in November 2015 for a fresh start  and to get away from the New England winter weather.  Nicole lives in Conway with  her Doberman Pinscher named Dante who is her best friend and is always by her  side.  When she is not at work caring for your furry friends, you can find her at the  beach with Dante or enjoying time with family and friends.

Nicole has been working in the animal field for almost 4 years now.  Prior to working with animals, Nicole was employed at a daycare for 13 years working with young children.  As much as she loved working with children, animals were always on her mind and she knew that a career change would be in her future.  While living up North, Nicole gained Animal Nurse experience working in general practice and was also fortunate to work in the Cardiology department at a specialty care hospital.

After 2 weeks of being in Conway, Nicole found her home at Meadowlawn and she can't say enough great things about being employed here.  Nicole adores every pet that comes through the door and she loves helping each one live a longer, healthier life.  Every day is a new learning experience for Nicole and she looks forward to her next new adventure at Meadowlawn Animal Services.

 Samantha, Animal Nurse

Samantha has always adored animals and has a strong passion for their well-  being.  She  recently gained the courage to make a life changing step and left the  food industry of 12  years to work here at Meadowlawn.  Her career as a vet  technician is forever rewarding  and she fulfills her purpose every day.  After taking  care of the animals here, she gets to go  home to her own furry family.  Samantha  has 3 dogs, Roxie, Macy, and Casey, a turtle  named Skeebo, and her newly  adopted cat named OC. They are the loves of her life and  motivate her to give the  best care to the clients and their pets.  She is inspired every day by the women she  works with and is eager to learn and experience more in the veterinary field.

 Kelsey, Animal Nurse

Kelsey grew up in Tulsa, OK and moved to Pawleys Island around Christmas of  2014 to be closer to family.  She has been working her way towards Vet School  since she was a child and dreams of one day being admitted into NC State's  College of Veterinary Medicine. Through all of high school she was a junior  volunteer at the Tulsa Zoo working in all aspects of the zoo from elephants to birds.  During her first two years of college, she was accepted as an intern in the Bird  Department at the Tulsa Zoo and got her start in the veterinary field as a kennel tech at a small clinic.  She graduated with a Bachelor's in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet emphasis from Oklahoma State University in 2012.  After graduating, she worked in a large, ever growing, small animal clinic in the heart of Tulsa as a Tech Assistant for two years. She currently lives with her grandparents, their 12 year old dachshund Izzy, and her two cats, 5 year old Tiger who is FIV positive and very opinionated, and 13 year old Gracie who is stubborn and affectionate all at the same time.

 Crystal, Client Services

Crystal was born and raised in South Carolina.  After graduation, she married her  high school sweetheart and moved to Kaiserslautern, Germany.  When her  husband left the Air Force they made their home in Conway, SC.  Together they  have 2 beautiful children, Mikayla and Alex, and a niece, Emily, who also lives with  the family.  When Crystal is not taking care of animals here at Meadowlawn she can  be found reading and loving on her 2 dachshunds, Odie and Lola, as well as her 5  lizards Kiba, Yoshi, Aarow, Sydney, and Tinkerbell.

  Maggie, Animal Nurse

Maggie is from Georgetown, South Carolina and is one of the newest additions to  the nursing staff at Meadowlawn Animal Services.  Her enthusiasm for animals  started at an early age and has only progressed. Maggie graduated from Clemson  University in 2015 with a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She hopes to gain  further experience working with animals here at Meadowlawn in order to one day  go to veterinary school.

 Kristie, Animal Nurse

Kristie moved to South Carolina 3 years ago from a small town in Connecticut.  Kristie grew up around a veterinary clinic and her love for animals began from  there.  Kristie loves working at Meadowlawn and is thrilled to be working with an  amazing team.  She sees every day as a new adventure with the patients and  enjoys spending time with her furry friends!  In her spare time she enjoys walks with  her three year old son and their puppy Clemson and working with them to learn and  grow together.

 Joanna, Client Services
